Enjoy Carriage Rides in Downtown Benton During the Holidays

Once again this holiday season, there will be nightly carriage rides around the Saline County Courthouse and Historic Downtown Benton. The carriage rides are $5 per person and will run nightly from November 24th until December 31st unless the weather doesn’t permit it. Benton Band to Present Jazz Coffee House at the High School, Dec 7th

The Benton High School Jazz Band presents Jazz Coffee House on Thursday, December 7th at 6:30 p.m. The band will entertain in the “BHS Cafe” (the school cafeteria). VFW to Present Veteran’s Day Ceremony Saturday Morning in Benton

Post 2256 of the VFW will present a Veteran’s Day Ceremony at the Saline County Courthouse in downtown Benton on Saturday, November 11th at 11:00 a.m. at the Veteran’s Memorial Wall. In the event of rain, the ceremony will be moved inside, to Courtroom #1 on the 2nd floor.
