There are several businesses either starting new in town or moving locations. The first on this list is a gym.
Pulse Premier Fitness is moving from Bryant to Benton. They are currently located at 3525 Highway 5 North, where it intersects Springhill Road, but their new location will be the former home of iPawn at 1212 Military Road, next to Samurai Japanese Steakhouse. We don’t know yet how soon they will open but watch MySaline for updates.
Next in our updates is a hotel that has been known as Econolodge for years, located at 16732 Interstate 30 (Exit 117) in Benton. We knew it was up for sale because there has been a huge real estate sign in front of it for a few months. Now it is evident the hotel has changed hands since there is new branding from the OYO international chain of hotels.
The name OYO stands for On Your Own. It is a large network of hotels, headquartered in India and owned by Ritesh Agarwal. There are also locations in Jacksonville and Texarkana.
As a side note, Cantina Cinco de Mayo, the restaurant attached to that hotel has added a covered patio in the front (east side) of their building. It’s a little hot now, but Fall and Spring will come.
And finally, Panda Express has broken ground and they are moving dirt. They are located on Interstate 30, near Alcoa Road (Exit 121) next to Everett Infiniti. See the previous article at www.mysaline.com/ne-pe.
The restaurant currently has eight locations in Arkansas – at Bentonville, Rogers, Springdale, Fayetteville, Siloam Springs, Searcy, Hot Springs and Magnolia.
