Effective immediately on Monday, March 31, 2025, Saline County Judge Matt Brumley has LIFTED the countywide BURN BAN due to recent rain, and more rain in the forecast. Residents should still use caution while burning outside during high winds.

The status of the burn ban will be continually monitored, with updates provided as conditions improve.
When there is a burn ban in effect, here’s what that means:
What should I do?
When the county is under a burn ban, it includes fireworks, campfires, trash burning, open flame grilling, and prescribed / controlled burns. The status of burn bans are monitored daily, with updates provided as conditions improve.
Never leave an open flame unattended. (Closed grills are okay to use.)
Avoid outdoor burning during windy conditions, including bonfires and campfires.
Follow all fire safety guidelines and local regulations.
Do your part to keep our community safe by taking fire safety seriously.
Who is in charge of this?
Arkansas Code Annotated 12-75-108 empowers the County Judge to declare a burn ban when local circumstances or conditions present a hazard to the health and safety of the citizens.
