Saline County Judge Matt Brumley has issued a countywide court ordered Burn Ban for Saline County, effective immediately.
“On October 10th at 9:00 a.m. I am issuing a burn ban for Saline County. Over the past 10 days I, along with the Office of Emergency Management and others, have monitored our fire weather conditions very closely,” said Judge Brumley.
“Current conditions and all our forecast matrices have led me to the determination of a burn ban declaration. For the safety of our firefighters and first responders in our county, and for the protection of life and property it is imperative that you do not burn and report any burning activities immediately.”
The status of the burn ban will be monitored daily, with updates provided as conditions improve.
