Benton Utilities is asking customers to follow the new process while paying your bill.
“As we proceed through these uncertain times related to COVID-19, our goals include providing safe and efficient services to our community,” a release from the company Thursday morning stated. “We ask for patience to make this work for all involved.”
If you pay by using the drop box, they ask that you don’t lick the envelope. Just tuck in the flap or use tape. Also include your payment stub so they know where to apply the funds.
You can also pay with a card by phone at 501-776-5923, or set up your account on automatic payments.
The release said the company instituted these measures to reduce contact and allow for social distancing, complying with the Centers for Disease Control.
