Notic from Benton Utilities
Due to unforeseen complications Wednesday, the Water Department will be continuing to work in the areas of North St and Couch St to repair a fire hydrant. The water will be off in this area for approx 3-4 hours until the repairs can be made. Customers in the following areas may be effected: North St. (including all streets to the West of North until reaching Denton St), Couch St, Terry St, Paradise Cir, Belair St, Montclair St, Princeton St, Tulane St, 4th St. heading South to Hoover St.

According to Benton Utilities, the Water Distribution Crew will be working at the intersection of North & Couch on Wednesday, March 21st, to replace a fire hydrant that has been damaged.
The crew will complete the digging & have the new fire hydrant ready to install prior to reducing the pressure in the area. Customers in this general area may notice little to no pressure while the new hydrant is installed. Estimated time of reduced pressure will be 2 hours.
