Come discuss possible solutions to alleviate traffic congestion at one of the worst intersections in Saline County (except on Sunday).
Bryant Planning Commissioners and area business leaders are hosting a workshop for the intersection of Reynolds Road and a private street that takes customers to and from Chick-Fil-a, Centennial Bank and Lowe’s Home Improvement. The workshop is set for Tuesday, May 17th at 4:00 p.m. at Bishop Park, upstairs in the Blue Room. The address is 6401 Boone Road, Bryant, AR 72022. The meeting will also be livestreamed on the City’s YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/c/BryantArkansas.
The commission asks that participants come with solutions. Most people already know the problem, the line for chicken ends up blocking the intersection. The restaurant is quick, but vehicles come through the intersection and then immediately stop for a left turn, preventing everyone behind them from proceeding.
See the map below for reference. There are two possible solutions that were presented at a previous meeting. See those described and illustrated at www.mysaline.com/bryant-pz-chickfila-traffic/.
