Bryant police were called to a shooting this morning just after 11:30 a.m. at the Fieldstone Townhomes on Brandon Road (see map below). The victim, whose name is not being released at this time, was treated for his gunshot but was pronounced dead a short time later.
The suspect, Tevin Turner, age 31 of Bryant, was taken into custody at Kroger Marketplace on Interstate 30 after calling 911 and turning himself in to police. He is being charged with 1st Degree Murder.

The Bryant Police Department confirms they are investigating a death at Fieldstone.

One apartment complex is starting the week off with an apparent shooting. Bryant Police and Pafford Ambulance are on the scene at the entrance to Fieldstone Townhomes of Bryant. A resident submitted the photo.
