The Bryant Police Department has released the name of a subject in Friday morning’s shooting in a residential area. Officers got a call on September 8, 2023 regarding a shooting on Henson Place (map and arrest detail below??). They arrived on the scene after 8:00 a.m.
Officers found an adult male subject, Carlos Urquhart, age 46, of Mabelvale, with a gunshot wound to his leg. He was treated and later released from a local hospital.
Henson Place, off Highway 5 North, in Bryant, Arkansas.
After further investigation, Urquhart was charged with Residential Burglary and 2nd Degree Domestic Battery, a class C felony. The case has been turned over to the Saline County Prosecutor’s Office for further review at this time. According to records from the Saline County Sheriff’s Office, Urquhart was released from the Saline County Detention Center on Monday, September 11, 2023 at 6:43 p.m., on a $2500 bond.

There has been a shooting in Bryant Friday morning, according to the Bryant Police Department. They are currently working the scene at Henson Place off Highway 5 North.
