For several months, Bryant Public Schools has been working on a rebranding project to replace the school district’s seal. The current seal is pictured below.
With the new mission “Creating Opportunities for Success” came the need for a fresh design to represent the school district. Note that this applies only to the district seal and there are no plans to change the Hornet mascot.
The Bryant School Board began discussing ways to engage stakeholders when talk turned to enlisting the help of students. Secondary art, journalism and graphic design students were asked to submit artwork. Sixty-five entries were received. Out of those designs came the vision to incorporate an image easily recognizable but unique to Bryant Schools: the “B” proudly worn on the chest of the Hornet mascot. Three designs were chosen for the ballot.
Exactly what the final logo will look like is up to the Bryant community. District stakeholders (faculty, staff, students, parents and community members) are invited to vote. The deadline to vote is noon on Friday, December 2nd, 2016. One vote per person.
The winning design will be announced the first week in December.
