Bryant Parks Department will host movies and live music in the park in July.
- July 15th, 6-8:30pm – music in the park with His Story performing at the Bishop Park pavilion. Bring a chair or blanket.
- July 16th – MOVIE RESCHEDULED DUE TO WEATHER… See August 6th below
- July 22nd, 6-8:30 pm – Music in the Park with Presley Drake. Come to Bishop Park pavilion and bring a chair or blanket. Presley Drake is a singer/songwriter based in Conway, AR. His intent is to write songs about life, loss, and everything in the middle, from a point of view that never strays too far from home. His debut single, “What’s He Drink” is out on all streaming platforms now. Bodiddle’s Wine & Spirits will be there, along with a food truck to be announced.
- July 23rd, 8 pm – Come to Ashley Park to see the 90s movie “Angels in the Outfield.” The movie will begin at dusk and will be shown under the newly renovated pavilion next to the playground. Bring a chair or blanket, and some movie snacks.
- July 29th, 6-8:30 pm – Music at Bishop Park Pavilion with the band Ridgewalkers. Bring a chair or blanket. Band members Dennis Davis, Jeff Davis, Ben Higgs, Paul Breitweiser, and Marc Shelnut are all from Saline County. The band performs the 60s and 70s vintage rock from a transistor radio, 8 track, and turntable days, with additional songs from Alan Parsons, U2, Train, Coldplay and REM sprinkled in the mix. Bodiddle’s Wine & Spirits will be there, along with a food truck to be announced.
- July 30th, 8 pm – Come to Ashley Park to see the 2002 Dennis Quaid movie, “The Rookie.” It’s the last free movie night of the Summer. The movie will begin at dusk and will be shown under the newly renovated pavilion next to the playground. Bring a chair or blanket, and some movie snacks.
- August 6th, 8 pm – come to Ashley Park to see the movie “Million Dollar Arm.” This film is based on the true story of baseball pitchers Rinku Singh and Dinesh Patel! The movie will begin at dusk and will be shown under the newly renovated pavilion next to the playground. Bring a chair or blanket, and some movie snacks.
