If you have passed through the Heart of Bryant recently (South Reynolds Road), you may have noticed a splash of color showing up at the corner of Mills Park and Reynolds Road.
Aaron Hardin, an art teacher at Bryant Junior High School, recently painted the traffic signal box located on that corner. Instead of a dull gray or green, it’s now a vibrant imagery of Bryant’s heritage.
Aaron also has plans to paint the boxes located at the intersection of Hill Farm Road and Reynolds Road, and one other location over the next few months.
The city said in a statement on social media they hope this project will inspire others to reach out with art or mural ideas.
