The City of Bryant will host two groundbreaking ceremonies for Springhill and Hill Farm Fire Stations.
- The first ceremony will be 10:00 a.m. January 23rd, near Hill Farm Elementary School, on the corner of Reynolds Rd and Hill Farm Rd.
- The second ceremony will be 10:00 a.m. January 30th, adjacent to Springhill Elementary School on Northlake Rd.
“Bryant firefighters have been working out of mobile homes for many years. These stations will be very important community anchors at both of these locations and will improve our response time for emergencies and improve our fire service to the airport,” stated Mayor Jill Dabbs.
Groundwork is under way at both locations and construction is expected to begin in January. Baldwin & Shell, the construction company contracted by the city to oversee the bond projects, estimates that both facilities should be completed by November 2018.
The City invites all residents, school officials, airport commissioners, and local leaders to join in these events.
