Practice has started for the Bryant men’s soccer team. They will kick off the 2022 season on March 1st at Hot Springs. The JV begins at 4:30 pm with Varsity action to follow at 6 pm.
Head Coach, Rick Friday, has high expectations for the 2022 season. Despite team youth and inexperience, the Hornets has post season aspirations. “We are still young and lack some experience, but our goal is to get back into the top 4, possibly top 2 and get a first-round bye in the post season.”
Coach Friday has established a team culture where players work to improve themselves and the team on a daily basis. Instead of determining a set travel squad, Coach Friday has chosen to leave a few spots available to inspire open competition day to day. “It’s important that we find ways to compete daily, and I think this helps us do just that.”
Excitement is building around this team, make plans to support them this season.
