One witness said Bryant Fire Department arrived in 2 minutes, but the home was already fully involved in the fire. Bryant Public Schools notified parents in the area that the bus schedule would run at the same time, but instead of kids getting off at Indian Hills Mobile Home Park, they would be dropped at Shobe and Mills Park.
Communications said it was a structure fire after an explosion, and that it had heavy fire at the back of the house. Benton FD and Collegeville FD aided in the efforts. The home was reported as smoldering at just after 3 p.m. It’s partially collapsed, with most of the damage in the rear of the brick home. It does not appear at this time that anyone was home.
