Bryant Animal Control Officers need the public’s help in locating a dog that bit a small child in Mills Park in Bryant on Monday, May 31, 2021, at approximately 12:00 p.m. The dog, described as a German Shepherd type mostly black in color, was being walked on a leash by an older couple along with a second, Chihuahua type dog, also on a leash when they were approached by the child. The larger dog bit the child causing injuries to the face. Both dogs were reportedly wearing tags but no information was obtained by the parent of the child at the time of the incident. The child was immediately taken for emergency medical treatment.
