You could make a difference in the City of Bryant by filling one of the three available Committee & Commission seats. The City announced Tuesday, June 13th that they are looking for applicants for the following vacant positions:
Water Sewer Advisory Committee – Ward 1. As a Water Sewer Advisory Committee member, you will be responsible for helping make recommendations for the current and future progress of the water distribution system and the sanitary sewer collection system.
Planning Commission – Ward 2. The Planning Commission is an advisory board with the purpose of reviewing and advising the City Council on annexations, zoning-related issues, subdivision development, special use reviews, and architectural and site plan reviews. Additionally, they are responsible for advising both City Council and the City of Bryant on matters concerning long-term planning for land within the city’s boundaries.
Parks Committee – Ward 4. The Parks Committee is an advisory board with the purpose of advocating on behalf of Bryant Parks, communicating with residents concerning upgrades or issues with the parks, and advising the department and elected officials regarding partner organizations, projects, and budget.

Each of these three positions will have a time commitment of at least one (1) night per month for their monthly committee or commission meeting. Additional meetings may be planned with sufficient notice.
