UDPATE AUG 25, 2022
There was only one item on the City Council agenda, but members accepted two.
Bryant City Council met Wednesday, August 24th in a Special Meeting to discuss whether to accept a $350,000 grant from Arkansas Department of Parks and Tourism. Council members that were present voted to accept the grant.
Next, one council member, Brenda White Miller, presented her resignation. Miller explained that she is moving to another city. She went on to say that she has served Ward 4 since March 2010 when former Council Member Robbie Young moved from Bryant. She has lived in Bryant since 1989.
Miller recommended Jack Moseley, Jr. to complete her term on the Council. There are approximately four months left. Moseley filed to run for the position in early August. Miller did not file.
