The Greater Bryant Chamber of Commerce has planned for some time to hire an additional staff member. On Friday, February 2nd, 2018, they announced that Lisa Roberts will be the new Office Coordinator.
Roberts is from Slapout, Alabama, near Montgomery, but has been in Arkansas for two years with her husband William, and their children, Chance and Kaylee.
Chamber President Todd Rhoden said the office fielded through 466 resumes and interviewed 15 candidates to hire Roberts.
The new position is part-time, but there will be lots of work with all of the events the chamber produces, like Taste of Bryant and Fall Fest. Roberts will work in the office with Cheryl Smith, Director of Operations, and Amy Jilek, a senior at Bryant High School, who will attend college in Minnesota.
