The City of Bryant has LIFTED the precautionary boil water notice for certain residents, as of Thursday, April 21, 2022.
PREVIOUSLY-April 21, 2022
If you live in the area east of Reynolds Road, north of NE 2nd Street, Arcadia Circle, Mills Park, Rogers Drive, Bame Drive, and Bristol Circle south of Shobe Road, then your utilities are affected in this notice. A loss of water pressure has been experienced due to a main break at NE 2nd Street and Hazel Street.
Therefore, as a precaution, all affected customers are advised that the water may be unsafe for human consumption. Water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes are to be boiled briskly for one minute prior to use. All previously frozen ice cubes should be discarded. Only make new ice with boiled water until this notice it’s lifted. As an alternative, bottled water can be used.
This boil water notice will remain in effect until the problem has been corrected, an adequate disinfectant level is established through the distribution system, and a bacteriological survey shows that the water is safe to drink.
