Officials are looking for a suspect that may have used a blow dart to fatally injure a cat. Bryant Animal Control Officers came to the scene after someone reported a possible animal cruelty incident on the afternoon of Monday, March 25, 2024.

The officer discovered a large deceased male orange tabby cat that had suffered trauma to his head. After examining the cat, officers discovered it was shot in the head with a blowgun dart. The dart was approximately 6 inches long, similar to the one shown in the above photograph. They stated the injury was recent – most likely from that day.
