I’ve been watching the property in Bryant where Evolution Boutique (and consignment) closed their business at the beginning of 2016. This storefront on Reynolds Road next to Family Dollar has been empty for over two years but there is finally a new business that has opened there. Braswell & Son is a pawn shop with other locations around central Arkansas. They have two Little Rock locations, one in Conway, and now one in Bryant.
Assistant Manager Katie Miceli tells MySaline they will hold their grand opening on Father’s Day weekend, but they’re already getting involved in the community. They have joined the Greater Bryant Chamber of Commerce and will have their ribbon cutting on June 14th. I met Amanda Camarena, who does marketing for them – she was at the WIN – Women in Networking meeting yesterday.
But the event you need to know about right now is a lemonade stand they are doing. Braswell & Son has partnered with Chick-fil-A to raise money for THE CALL. They will have a lemonade stand in front of the store on Friday June 8th and Saturday June 9th, from 10 a.m. -4 p.m.
“Guests can make a donation in the amount of their choosing, grab some cold lemonade and enter a drawing to win free Chick-fil-A for a year,” Miceli stated.
Their grand opening on June 15th weekend will include a cookout, a sale on jewelry and a diamond giveaway.
Welcome to Bryant!
