Every time MySaline does a survey about what type of business we need in town, one of the main answers people give is “book store.” It’s coming.
Kent Byers is moving his used book store, “The Book Worm” from Little Rock. He lives in Benton and found a spot across from Harp’s Grocery at 1500 Highway 5 North, about a minute west of the intersection at Alcoa Road.
Byers is having his last day at the Little Rock location near Grady’s Pizza on February 28th and will begin the move afterward. In a social media post, he said there are 44,000 books and 114 bookcases. He hopes to open up shop in April.
According to his statement, “credits and gift certificates will still be honored. Same store hours, phone number, etc.” If you’re still scratching your head about where the new location is, it used to be a Church of Christ. Photos below.
