The Arkansas Department of Health has issued a notice that a boil order has been lifted. It was originally issued on Monday, August 14, 2017 for about 300 customers of Salem Water Association near the intersection of Highway 298 and Highway 5 South.

The Arkansas Department of Health has issued a boil order for about 300 customers of Salem Water Users. The area affected is near the intersection of Highway 5 South and Highway 298.
Under a boil order, any water for consumption must be boiled for at least one minutes before using. Customers should discard any ice cubes.
