UPDATE – AUG 27, 2020:
The Department of Health has released the “Boil Water” Notice from August 26th for the connections on Springhill Road from Northlake to Hilldale, including Springhill Acres. This order was issued as a precautionary measure because of the possibility that contaminated water may have entered the distribution system as a result of complete loss in normal system pressure.
Bacteriological samples taken on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 were found to be free of bacterial contamination and a satisfactory disinfectant level has been established throughout the distribution system. The water is therefore considered ‘Safe’ for human consumption and the ‘Boil Water’ notice is hereby lifted.
