At approximately 8:12 p.m. Tuesday, July 25, 2017, officers with the Benton Police Department responded to a wooded area off Interstate 30 for a report of a deceased body. During the course of the investigation, detectives found evidence of a possibility of an overdose.
The deceased has been identified as 22-year-old Trey Robert Hesselbein of Benton. The body has been sent to the Arkansas Crime Laboratory to determine the cause of death.
The investigation is ongoing.

According to Benton Police Department spokesperson Matt Burks, a body was found Tuesday night, July 25th in the woods between Saline Memorial Hospital and Walmart. Burks stated that it’s an unidentified male. This is an ongoing investigation. MySaline will have more information as it is released.
