The Saline County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) has updated information about the body that was found in Saline County on Monday, January 24, 2020, around 10:30 a.m. Deputies were responding to a call from a local resident that discovered the body while walking in the neighborhood.
Little was known about the identity on Tuesday morning, because there was no identification on her person. The SCSO sent the body to the state crime laboratory. It is a white female and since the family has been notified, we can now tell the name is Jennifer Kae Keenzel, age 48 of Sheridan.
The autopsy is not complete, so the cause of death is yet to be determined. Her body and was found off Fairview Rd in the East End/Hensley area in the woods, according to SCSO Capt. Parsons. See the map below.
