Update – Sep 28 2016 8:03PM:
This was a domestic dispute between a married couple that had separated. Bradley Charles Clayton was arrested on charges of 1st degree battery, after allegedly shooting his wife in the upper part of the leg. She taken to the hospital to be treated for injury and then released.

A MySaline reader tipped me off that the Benton Police Department (BNPD) is working a crime scene on the west section of Alcoa Road tonight.
Spokesperson for the BNPD, Matt Burks stated that it is currently being investigated and the victim has injuries but they are not life-threatening. Investigation is ongoing.
“At this point in the investigation there’s no threat to the community,” stated Burks.
