We had a report and video of a coyote yesterday and now today the Benton PD reports that a bear has been spotted in Benton.

Just spotted in the area around Scott Salem Road at the edge of the city limits: A large black bear estimated by the witness to be 300+ pounds. Game and Fish Officers have been called, but be careful if you’re traveling in the area.
