Bill Ford announces his candidacy for Alderman, Ward 1 Position 1 for the City of Benton. The position is currently held by Alderman Frank Baptist.
“Over the last decade the City of Benton has experienced phenomenal growth and improvements with great potential for more to come. I would appreciate the opportunity to serve, represent and advocate for the citizens of Ward 1 by utilizing my practical experience and knowledge of city government as Benton continues to grow.”
Bill is a lifelong resident of Benton and a graduate of Benton High School. He retired in May of 2021 from the Benton Fire Department after serving 42 years with the last 10 years as Chief of the Department. Bill and his wife Judy are the parents of one son, Andrew.
