Benton High School (BHS) student Noah Tull has received a three-year Army ROTC (Reserve Officers’ Training Corps) scholarship to attend the University of Arkansas, where he will major in Biomedical Engineering.
Tull was chosen from among 4,400 applicants nationwide. These Scholarships are awarded on a merit basis, reflecting academic achievement, extracurricular activities, physical fitness, specific performance or accomplishment, leadership abilities, and personal interviews.
While at BHS, Noah was active in JROTC holding several leadership positions and served on the Panther Battalion Staff during his senior year. Noah was additionally named to the Junior National Honor Society, Arkansas Scholar, Honor graduate, and named the National Scholar Athlete for the BHS JROTC program.
The scholarship entitlements include tuition and fees, as well as an annual book allowance, and a monthly stipend for up to 10 months of each school year.
Upon graduation, Tull will receive a commission as a 2nd Lieutenant and serve four to five years in the Army by committing to either active duty, the Army Reserve or the National Guard.
Tull is the son of Andrea and Kurt Tull.
