A MySaline reader just let me know that it looks like Downtown Billiards (on Sevier Street across from the Saline County Courthouse) is now serving beer.
The message:
“I saw last night that there were beer signs in the windows of Downtown Billiards on Sevier Street. I’ve been waiting for this to happen since the county went wet, as it seemed to be a logical next step.”
The pool hall isn’t open until 2pm, but a quick look at their Facebook page confirms it. It also says they are still a non-smoking venue. We wish them well in this new phase of the business.
