I had great fun recently, participating in a video the Benton Police Department (BNPD) made for recruiting new officers. Matt Burks is a spokesperson for the BNPD but he also promotes things going on with the Department. He called me one day in December to see if I wanted to act in a short with Batman and Captain America. Umm… Heck yes, that sounds like great fun! I brought my friend Sarah Clayton and we both helped out and had a great time. I never thought I’d be so awesome at the mannequin challenge… and I wasn’t! That’s just a trendy thing to do, so since we had a few people together, we shot one real quick. I was not terrible either, but it’s difficult to stay still when the wind is blowing in your eyes! Also, I was kinda getting punched in the face. All this was to show that you don’t have to be a superhero to be an officer with the Benton Police Department. Enjoy!
UPDATE: See the news story THV11 did on this. Officer Jackson and I were interviewed in it: http://www.thv11.com/mb/news/local/benton-police-are-hiring-new-officers/384634580
From the BNPD:
The Benton Police Department (BNPD) is looking for individuals to join us in becoming one of Benton’s Finest. BNPD is a proactive and community-orientated police agency seeking diversity. We encourage minority and female applicants to compete.
