Three individuals were arrested early Friday morning in relation to breaking and entering.
Benton Police Department officers responded to the area of Ouachita Cove and Nature Way in the Woodlands neighborhood just after 1:15 a.m. Friday for reports of multiple breaking or entering incidents. Shortly after arrival, officers were able to make a felony traffic stop near the entrance of the neighborhood and arrested five individuals who were found in possession of four stolen firearms.
Melton Brown, age 19; Avery McGill, age 20 and Ken Kelly, age 18, were each charged with one count of Breaking or Entering and two counts of Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor. Additional Breaking or Entering charges are pending.
Two juveniles were each charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Minor and they also have pending Breaking or Entering charges.
This investigation remains ongoing.
