The City of Benton realized during the snow storm in January that their 5 snow plows didn’t have names. They held a contest and got lots of entries. Read below for the five names they chose.
I don’t know if these entries came from genius creative minds or maybe as a result from a little brain freeze but the names are:
Clear-a-pathra
Plowasaurus Rex
Snowmer Simpson
Keanu Freeze
Sir Scrapes-a-Lot
Thanks to everyone who sent in a name. These are awesome. My question is will they come when you call them?

The City administration has seen some really creative names for snow plows across the country – Han Snowlo, Taylor Drift, Bozo the Plown, Up2Snowgood – they are looking for something fun and clever like that. You probably already know this but they are not looking for names that are rude, vulgar, or inappropriate.
They will pick the 5 best names and the winners will get their picture with a snow plow and their name underneath their winning entry. The only way to submit a name for consideration is to email it to matt.thibault@bentonar.org.
