Benton Mayor Tom Farmer issued an order today for minors in the city limits of Benton to stay home, with just a few exceptions. This order begins after midnight on Monday April 6th, 2020.
Key points in this order include the exceptions that a minor must be with a parent, guardian, or caregiver or be at work or going to work and just have a driver’s license. Order exceptions are going to/from medical appointment or assistance or getting medicine, contact with law enforcement or emergency personnel, performing work duties, to obtain food or supplies.
The order will be 120 days or less, unless it is renewed.
