A Benton man was sentenced to 17 years in prison after pleading guilty to charges of extortion and attempted production of child pornography. Joshua Alexander Reile, age 27, of Benton was arrested in April 2016 when it became apparent he made fake internet profiles with the intent of luring girls and women into sending him nude photos. He also threatened to show the photos when victims found out he was faking. In one case, he did retaliate. He copied photos obtained from a female’s ex-boyfriend’s phone and sent them to her employer. Several other charges were dropped in exchange for a guilty plea. Reile plead guilty in November 2016 and was sentenced last week. Click for more story from Arkansas Online.
