Jared Voth: Dedicating His Life to the Betterment of His Community
By: BHS EAST
Jared Voth has been a mainstay in Saline County through his charitable business: Koffee with a Kause. However, most people don’t know the steps taken to get him to this point. Voth started his hospitality endeavors in Downtown Dallas where he spent most of his time working in five-star hotels.
After he moved to Arkansas, Jared picked up a job in finance at Charles Schwab. There, he often helped with U.S. Bank investments. For seven years, Voth worked in ministry, spreading the word of God and helping those in need. Before starting Koffee With a Kause, Jared was the head of men’s recovery for the Union Rescue Mission’s Nehemiah House. During that time, Voth helped men in need learn how to live a life without drugs and alcohol or any other plights they face in life.
Jared often found it hard to balance finding physical items such as clothes and food for those in need and providing mental guidance with classes and counseling through this project. His visualization for Koffee with a Kause sprouted from this obstacle. Koffee with a Kause finds a way to still be a successful business while offsetting some of the profits to fund the expenditures the charities need to provide their aid.

Through the eight years of being opened, Koffee with a Kause has supported 38 charities. Nearly all of these have been local. In the beginning, Koffee with a Kause supported a business every month. They later found that it was more beneficial to both the business and charities if they gave awareness to one quarterly.
Currently, they are supporting Birch Tree Communities, a therapeutic organization that helps severely mentally ill people recover. Birch Tree has eleven locations throughout Arkansas. Jared plans to keep the growth of Koffee with a Kause in a grassroots style. In his own words, “slow and meticulous”, keeping the quality of their products and the focus of their mission to support charities as their main aspirations.
