The Benton Panthers basketball team is making their mark on the 2024 season, beating the Fayetteville Bulldogs in a “matchup” in Jacksonville, Arkansas. Read details from the game, players of the week and upcoming games below.

Over the weekend, at the DA Showcase Matchup Tournament in Jacksonville, the Benton Panthers played Fayetteville High School. On their way to a dominant victory, winning 78-55, Senior Terrion Burgess, who scored 22 points on 9/17 shooting, took home MVP of the Showcase.
Seniors A’Darian Gray, and Harrison Pickett also had major contributions scoring 21 and 16 points respectively. Gray led the defense in steals and blocks, recording 4 steals and a block.
