Do you like funds for services in your community? Do you like parades? The City of Benton will host a parade through several neighborhoods to remind everyone to respond to the Census. It’s a Census Parade.
Tell your neighbors that on Saturday, August 22nd, the parade will leave at 8:30 a.m. from the downtown Benton Farmers Market at the corner of Ashley and Main. City employees and their families will be in city vehicles, including fire trucks and police cruisers. The line of vehicles will take the following route:
- Ashley, River, Jackman, Market, Smith, East, Edison, 2nd/Stewart, Reed, Gum, Johnson, Dixie, Thompson, and Cedar Block.
