The Benton City Council will hold its regularly scheduled meeting Monday, October 28, 2019, at 7:00 p.m., in Council Chambers at the Benton Municipal Complex. The agenda meeting will be held prior to the City Council Meeting at 6:30 p.m., in the Mayor’s Conference Room.
James Chitwood and Linda Kreuser will receive service awards for employment with the City. Mayor Farmer will proclaim “Friends of the Library Week.” Ordinances for crosswalks downtown, funds from mobile device sales, a hair salon on Alcoa Rd., and a daycare on Red Bud Dr. will be presented. Resolutions will be presented for drainage improvements near Montclair and Princeton, a culvert at Bridgewater, Fire Dept. wages, disability insurance, fencing at Holland Park, a batting cage at Tyndall Park, Amputees services, and utilities revenue bonds.
