Benton City Council will hold a special called meeting on Monday, August 2nd, in Council Chambers at 114 S. East Street. The meeting starts at 6:00 p.m.
There are just two items on the agenda. The first is Ordinance 47 of 2021 – to amend usage rates at Riverside Park to eliminate daily, monthly and visitor access – with an emergency clause.

The next item involves property on River Street that has several structures and improvements on it, and is around 6 acres:
Resolution 73 of 2021 – to authorize the City of Benton to enter into a contract with the UA Little Rock for the purchase of the property at 410 River Street, including the former UALR Benton Center, CW Lewis Stadium and other buildings.
