This hurts. I have loved eating bbq lunch here and rolling out the door because I’m so full. I loved the pulled pork, the ribs, the beans, slaw, potato salad, all of it. And I loved seeing Mike and chatting with him behind the counter. Or yelling at him from across the restaurant because it’s so casual, it feels like you’re at home with family. But small business is hard, folks. So Flyin Pig BBQ Joint at 120 N. Market Street has officially closed their doors and they’ve posted the lone sad word “CLOSED” on a piece of paper on the door. We know that the owner Mike Groves loves smoking meat and feeding people, so we hope to see him open something again soon.
