The 43rd Bauxite Reunion with be held this weekend. Anyone who lived in, grew up in or was connected to Bauxite in anyway are welcome.
Friday May 24, 2024 is movie night at the Bauxite Community Hall.
Movie starts at 6:00, Museum will open at 5. Cost will be 25¢ each for entrance to movie, popcorn or cold drink.

Two movies will be offered and the one with the most votes will be shown. Choices will be “Stagecoach,” the 1939 movie starring John Wayne. or “From Here to Eternity,” the 1953 movie starring Burt Lancaster, Frank Sinatra and Montgomery Clift.
Saturday, May 25, will be the 43rd gathering for the Bauxite Reunion. Registration will start at 10:00 a.m. There will be lunch for $10. This includes pulled pork barbeque, baked beans, chips, banana pudding and drink.
At 1:00 p.m., the business meeting will start. Afterward, the guest speaker, Donnie Orender, will speak on his memories of growing up in Bauxite.
This is the perfect time to see and visit with old friends and reminisce about the special times we all had in Bauxite. Like Mrs. Morden said, “Bauxite, Last Stop before Heaven.”
There’s no other place like it.
