The City of Bauxite is in the process of establishing its Parks and Recreation Department and we are currently looking for sponsors/donors to aid in the development of suitable family areas. Our Mission is to provide respectable parks, services, and opportunities to Bauxite’s citizens. We have several goals to work toward and we need your help.
On October 23, 2016 the Parks Department will be hosting Bauxite’s Second Annual Fall Festival at the Bauxite Historical Museum from 2 – 6 p.m. There will also be a special sermon starting at noon before the festivities. All proceeds will go into the Parks fund. In order to ensure the success of this important fundraiser, we are seeking contributions to offset the cost associated with the event, so all funds raised can go directly towards park projects. We realize that donations are important to the vitality of the Parks and Recreation Department and its mission to enhance, preserve, and strengthen the quality of life in our community.
