Bailey Morgan has announced that he will be running as a Democrat for Saline County Justice of the Peace District 5.
Morgan holds degrees in both public administration and political science from the University of Central Arkansas and has a career in state government. He has spent his adult life searching for opportunities to improve the quality of life for all Arkansans.
“I am excited and proud to announce my candidacy for the Democratic nomination for Justice of the Peace District 5 in Saline County. I look forward to the opportunity to give young residents more of a voice in their local government,” Morgan said. “Arkansas ranks consistently low in critical areas such as education, infrastructure, and quality of life. Our beautiful state needs energetic leadership with a passion for change and an optimistic view for the future.
“As Justice of the Peace, I will encourage road repair and traffic decongestion, emphasize the importance of public health measures during this global pandemic, fight for affordable housing and renters’ rights, advocate for the creation of parks and recreational areas throughout the county, and work to ensure a world class education for our students through after-school activities and clubs.
“Saline County deserves passionate and optimistic leadership, and I fully intend to bring both of those qualities to the Saline County Quorum Court.”
