[VIDEO] Trucker dash cam footage shows man with firearm on Interstate 30 in Benton

A Little Rock man was arrested first thing in the morning in Benton recently, after a road rage incident with a firearm, according to Arkansas State Police. This happened on Interstate 30 on Monday August 19, 2024.

The 911 caller was a truck driver from Ohio who gave a full account of the incident. Police caught up with the suspect, Rashaad Huell, age 34, who didn’t have the same story.

However, the trucker had dash cam footage of a black SUV with a matching license plate to the suspect’s vehicle. The footage showed a man in that same vehicle moments earlier, rolling down the window and sticking a firearm out, pointing it at the trucker and/or other vehicles.

STATEMENT FROM POLICE REPORT – ARKANSAS STATE POLICE – 2024 AUGUST 19

On Monday, August 19, 2024, Troop A dispatch received a 911 call regarding a road rage incident involving a firearm. 

The caller stated that a black male driving a black SUV (AR LPN ATW70M) was pointing a firearm out of the vehicle at him.

The suspect vehicle was located and a traffic stop was conducted.

The driver of the suspect vehicle, Rashaad Huell, was extremely agitated and kept repeating that people are following him “every f***ing day” and “that s*** is going to stop.”

The officer asked Huell multiple times about what had happened with him and the caller. The officer said in his statement that Huell would never give a clear answer.

The caller stopped and provided Trooper Bloch with a written statement that Huell had pointed a firearm out of his vehicle.

The caller even provided a dash camera video that clearly shows Huell pointing a handgun out of the driver’s window and directly at a motorist in a black truck.

Huell was arrested for Aggravated Assault. There was also an empty holster in the driver floorboard with a Rock Island 1911 tucked under the driver seat.

Huell was transported to the Saline County Detention Center.

The 1911 was logged into evidence at Troop A.
