A Benton man faces multiple counts of possession of child pornography.

On Wednesday, November 13, 2024, Special Agents from the Arkansas State Police (ASP) Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC), with assistance from the Arkansas Attorney General’s Office and the Saline County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO), executed a search warrant in the 900 block of Weatherford Road in Benton.
The search warrant was the result of an investigation prompted by a National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) tip originating from a social media platform.
James Brent Young, 42, of Benton, Arkansas, was arrested and charged with 86 counts of Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM). Young is at the Saline County Detention Center with a $100,000 bond.
