The National Weather Service in Little Rock has issued a statement for hazardous weather outlook for a large part of Arkansas.
Tuesday overnight expect showers and thunderstorms, some strong to severe. Damaging winds and large hail and heavy rainfall will be possible and a few tornadoes cannot be ruled out.
Another severe weather episode is expected on Wednesday, as a strong cold front moves through the state. All severe weather hazards, including damaging winds, hail, and tornadoes will be possible.
Coverage of severe weather looks to be particularly likely over the eastern half of Arkansas during the afternoon to later evening hours. There will also be potential for locally heavy rainfall, following up on a few days of periodic heavy rainfall, and could result in some local flooding issues.
