The National Weather Service in Little Rock has issued a statement of Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a large part of Arkansas.
Fog will increase Monday overnight with patchy dense fog possible. Hazardous travel conditions may result. Tuesday is when it ramps up.
Rain and thunderstorms are expected to develop and move across the state Tuesday into Tuesday night. Some of these storms may be severe, especially across far southern Arkansas, with damaging straight-line winds the primary hazard.
Locally heavy rainfall will be possible on Tuesday as well. Strong southerly winds will develop across the state on Tuesday before a cold front makes its way through with gusts approaching 30 mph at times.
