The National Weather Service in Little Rock has issued a Freeze Warning from Monday, November 30th at 9:00 p.m. until Tuesday, December 1st at 9:00 a.m.
Expect sub-freezing temperatures as low as 24 degrees Fahrenheit in portions of central, eastern, southeast and southwest Arkansas. Frost and freeze conditions will kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.

- People – check on family and friends, especially those without adequate heat.
- Pets – provide warm shelter and be sure thawed drinking water is available.
- Pipes – allow warm air to circulate near plumbing, let water drip.
- Plants – bring those sensitive plants indoors or cover them.

Bitter cold temperatures are forecast by Tuesday morning, according to the National Weather Service in Little Rock. Low temperatures will range from the lower to mid 20s for much of the state.
A system will bring rain and snow to the state Wednesday morning through late Thursday night. Snow will be most likely Wednesday night through Thursday morning, with the greatest chances for accumulations in northwest Arkansas. Only minor accumulations are expected at this time.
A mix of rain and snow will be possible for much of western, central, and northeast Arkansas. Accumulations in these areas are less likely.
The southern, southeast, and eastern portions of the state will likely only see rain with this system.
